5. Home and routines
- New routine: Home → New Routine (editor, AI, photo, template, free workout; options depend on plan).
- Groups: organize several routines together.
- ▶: starts the workout.
- ⋯: duplicate, archive, template (not Free), schedule, export, send to Watch (Athlete Pro+).
Manage mode
Home → Manage → select routines or groups → Send to Watch / Select all / Delete → ✕ to exit.
Free limits
1 active routine · 1 group · max 15 exercises · no distance/GPS.
6. Routine editor
- Add exercises from the library.
- In the library you can filter by type: All · Fitness · Mobility · Pilates.
- All shows only what you have already unlocked.
- Mobility and Pilates are always browseable: if the pack/group is locked you see a clear preview label (Pilates pack or Mobility group) and cannot add it to the routine yet. - Set sets, reps, load, rests (and advanced methods if your plan includes them).
- Distance / GPS measures require Athlete Pro+.
- Save: the routine appears on Home.
(End-of-workout reminder and gym-bag checklist are global settings: Settings → Base.)
6bis. Exercise library and detail card
The catalog includes hundreds of exercises (fitness, mobility, cardio/swim and, with the add-on, Pilates). Each entry has a Gym Visual GIF, description, execution tips and a muscle map.
In the library, exercise picker, routine editor, Home and Runner: tap the GIF icon (or the info button) to open the exercise detail with description and notes:
| Item | What it shows |
|---|---|
| GIF | Movement animation (Gym Visual) |
| Muscle groups — Primary | Main muscles of the movement |
| Muscle groups — Secondary | Synergists and stabilizers (when listed) |
| Silhouette | Highlighted zones aligned with primary/secondary tags (front/back) |
| Description / execution | Movement steps and practical tips |
| Equipment / unsuitable for | Setup and cautions tied to profile attention areas |
Muscle labels and silhouettes are teaching simplifications: they do not replace professional assessment. On Home and in the editor you can also toggle the routine muscle map (macro bar or silhouette) for a quick view of what the routine targets.
7. Runner (workout)
- From Home tap ▶.
- (Optional, at home) If bag checklist is on in Settings → Base, Home shows a bag icon: open it before you leave, tick items and listen to the voice guide. It does not appear when you tap ▶ (you’re already at the gym).
- Follow timers, rests and voice cues.
- Pause / Resume: with auto-advance (or T21), double-tap the screen (same as Apple Watch), including during rest; the blue ▶ button remains only when auto-advance is off. Stops voice guidance and says Paused; on resume it says Resuming. An orange PAUSED banner appears under the top bar (Double-tap to resume).
- Exercise navigation: the labeled Previous exercise / Next exercise buttons (and ⏮ / ⏭ in the app bar) jump between exercises; the bottom ↺ control replays the set (during rest it cancels rest and redos the set just finished; during work it goes to the previous set or restarts the current one); ✓ completes the step. SKIP marks the current exercise as skipped.
- Routines with distance/GPS: Athlete Pro+ only.
- After the session, see the summary in History.
- End-of-workout reminder (optional, global): in Settings → Base you can turn it on/off. Factory default is ON with a message (water bottle, towel, locker key — editable). When on, it appears on the summary and is spoken (including Apple Watch).
8. Apple Watch (Athlete Pro+)
Requirements: Athlete Pro plan (or active trial), KINEVA FIT on iPhone and Watch, Bluetooth on, Watch paired.
- From iPhone: Watch app → KINEVA FIT → Install.
- Open KINEVA FIT on the Watch at least once.
- Send a routine: Home → ⋯ → Send to Apple Watch (or Manage mode for several).
- On the Watch: open the routine → OPEN → START.
During a workout, the top-left ✕ (or End in the menu) fully ends the session and stops HealthKit — it does not leave the workout running in the background.
Pool swimming (lap measure): on the Watch, HealthKit uses a pool swim session with the routine’s pool length (e.g. 25 m). Lap counts and pool length sync back to History on iPhone.
If you see “not installed” but the icon is there: open the app on the Watch and send again.
Add the watch face complication via Edit face → KINEVA FIT.
9. Calendar, data and history
- Calendar: schedule and (Pro/Studio) appointments.
- Data: training and biometric charts.
- History: completed sessions, filters, detail; GPS map if present (Athlete Pro+).
History export/import (ZIP): Settings → Base → Export / Import · History, or Trainer Pro → Export & import → History (Athlete Pro+, not during trial).
10. Export a routine
Home → ⋯ → Export program → choose format → channel (File / Email / WhatsApp).
| Format | Typical plan |
|---|---|
| Compact / illustrated table (PDF) | Athlete Pro+ |
| Program manual / HD image | Piano Pro / Studio |
11. AI and photo import
- AI Wizard: suggests a routine (uses credits).
- Photo import: photograph a paper routine and always review the result.
Needs a connection and available credits.
12. Useful settings
More → Base
- Language, audio cues, vibration, notifications
- Speak exercise codes (TRI 007 and similar before the name; can be turned off; your choice becomes the default)
- Appearance (theme, colors)
- Licensed devices (seat limit per plan)
- Guides & help (product website, this guide online / PDF)
Workout reminders (global — all plans)
Workout reminders section in Settings → Base (applies to every routine; not configured in the Editor):
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| End-of-workout reminder | ON/OFF toggle; Edit message is separate (text/chips). Factory default ON. When on: summary + voice on iPhone and Apple Watch. |
| Bag checklist | ON/OFF toggle (enable only). Open checklist and Edit item list are separate actions. When ON, Home shows a Pack your bag row. Factory: 8 items. Does not open with ▶. |
More → Trainer Pro (if your plan allows): studio tools, PIN, Backup & restore app (disaster recovery) and Export & import separated by category (routines, history, management).
Subscription: banner in the drawer or Settings → paywall · Restore purchases.
13. Trainer and Studio (Piano Pro / Studio & Gym)
For personal trainers and gyms:
- Clients from the drawer (New client): in the profile you can add, edit and remove physical notes / limitations at any time (they stay on the client as operator reminders).
- 4-digit PIN to protect the area (keep the recovery code).
- Assign routines, PDF/JSON export, exercise database (muscle / equipment / type from fixed catalog lists only).
- Every catalog entry includes GIF, primary/secondary muscles, silhouette, description and execution tips (same content as the athlete library).
- Studio: unlimited clients, mobility protocols, multi-trainer, full PDF encyclopedia (entire catalog; muscle segments remain on Pro Plan too).
- Print / PDF export of the exercise library (segment manuals or full encyclopedia): paid Pro Plan / Studio subscription only — not during the free trial.
- In Trainer Pro, actions are split: Backup & restore app (whole app) ≠ Export & import (routines / history).
- Export / Send Routines and Import Routines: exchange routines between colleagues/devices; import can create missing clients. Paid Pro/Studio only — not during trial.
- Export / Import history (ZIP): sessions and charts only, not routines. Full backup: disaster recovery for the whole app. Personal JSON export and history/biometrics CSV: paid subscription only — not during the free trial.
- Routine PDF/image exports use silhouettes and YouTube QR; Gym Visual GIFs stay in-app only (never printed or exported).
- Single-routine export (table/manual PDF, HD image) and progress reports (JSON/PDF): paid subscription only — not during the free trial.
- AI credits in trial: max 10 (not the full plan 50/150); paid boosters remain available.
On iPad the trainer area is especially convenient for catalog and handoffs.
14. Pilates pack (add-on)
One-time purchase; needs at least Athlete Pro. Unlocks 49 Pilates exercises (mat + machine) with notes and silhouettes.
Home → New Routine → Pilates pack
(or from the paywall, add-on card).
